However, truth matters. The tension posed by Kirkegaard between the dead "worship" of the orthodox Lutheran as opposed to the offering of the heartfelt idolator is a false choice. They are both wrong. Jesus says true worshippers must worship in spirit (small s) and truth.<br />As a former Methodist, I can only say it is difficult to offend someone who believes in everything and/or nothing. This pretty well describes the Methodist church today. Someone once said that the Methodists have 2 doctrines: 1) God is nice and 2) we should be nice too.F Poenoreply@blogger.com
